Audio Library

The Audio Library of the TI contains a large inventory of sound recordings of spoken texts, operas, operettas, melodramas, musicals, scenic music and ballets. These recordings can only be listened to on the premises of the Theatre Institute.

Bibliography

Offers the opportunity to search for articles about Czech and world theatre, that have been published in Czech newspapers, magazines and textbooks, as well as search for references about Czech theatre that have been made in selected foreign periodicals.

Documentation

Offers text and image documents which are related to the works and creations of Czech professional theatres, festivals and cultural institutes.

Library

Has a unique collection of Czech and foreign professional theatre literature, theatre texts, literature from related disciplines at its disposition, including scholastic and cultural magazines. Readers can locate titles by using our on-line database, where more than 75 percent of our collection has been catalogued. In addition to our classic lending services, we also provide enquiry services, photocopying services and a reading room.

Videotheque

Offers a wide selection of recorded studies, Czech theatre productions, including video documentation of foreign companies. Videos can only be viewed on the premises.
